Frequently asked questions

Practical answers to common questions about using Anvora.

What makes Anvora different from other communication and client workflow tools?

Anvora brings sensitive professional interactions into one privacy-focused environment. You can collect structured information with Forms, receive private enquiries, offer services and bookings, run protected Conversations and Sessions, and control how identity and access are handled throughout the interaction.

How does identity cloaking work?

Identity cloaking lets participants interact using a protected identity where the workflow allows it, with identity revealed only through the appropriate controls. This can reduce unnecessary exposure during sensitive interactions while allowing professionals and organisations to define how identity is handled.

Can I collect information with Anvora Forms?

Yes. Anvora Forms let you create reusable forms for structured information gathering, including intake, consultation, preparation, reflection, and other professional workflows. Responses are protected within Anvora and can form part of a wider interaction rather than ending with a standalone form submission.

What is the difference between an Enquiry and a Join Request?

An Enquiry starts a new conversation with a professional or organisation, while a Join Request asks for access to an existing Session. This keeps first contact separate from access to an interaction that has already been created.

Is Anvora compliant with regulations like UK GDPR?

Anvora is designed to support organisations with structured oversight, session history, data retention controls, and secure data handling. These capabilities can support internal governance and regulatory review under frameworks such as UK GDPR and UK Whistleblowing Framework.

Can I integrate Anvora with my existing systems?

Yes. Integration and API projects can be scoped for Governance and Enterprise deployments based on your systems, workflow, security, and implementation requirements.

How do services and bookings work?

Professionals can publish services, set their availability, and let clients choose an available time through Anvora. Bookings can then connect clients to the appropriate professional workflow without relying on separate scheduling and communication tools.

Can I work with people outside my Anvora workspace?

Yes. Anvora supports interactions with external clients, participants, and other people who are not members of your workspace. Depending on the workflow, they can send enquiries, submit Forms, book services, or request access to a Session through managed Join Requests.

How much does Anvora cost?

Anvora offers plans for independent professionals, teams, and organisations. Solo and Team can be started online, while Governance and Enterprise are tailored to organisational requirements. Visit our pricing page to compare current plans, capabilities, and allowances.

Does Anvora sell or use my conversation data for advertising?

No. Anvora does not sell your conversation data or use the content of your private interactions for advertising. We process data as needed to provide, secure, and operate the service in accordance with our applicable terms and privacy documentation.

Where is Anvora data stored?

Standard Anvora production data is primarily hosted in the AWS Europe (Ireland) Region. Approved subprocessors may process limited data in other locations where needed, subject to applicable contractual and international-transfer safeguards. Alternative data residency is available only where expressly scoped in an Enterprise agreement.
